Online Training for New Hampshire Municipalities and Schools

New Hampshire municipalities, schools, counties and other local government entities face increasingly complex laws, regulations and policies as well as human resource, leadership and job skill challenges. To address these, LGC Property Liability Trust partners with Municipal Resources, Inc. to offer The Academy, an online training platform. The Academy features a comprehensive selection of courses that focus on health, safety, regulatory and job skill training, offered in a cost-effective and convenient format.

TRAINING OVERVIEW AND FORMAT

The Academy delivers training courses in two convenient formats. Online courses are accessible anytime and offer immediate access to certificates of completion. Hybrid courses pair classroom instruction with e-learning. All Academy courses feature a variety of instructional tools including narrated presentations, videos, quizzes, and useful resources. Academy courses are instructed by LGC Property Liability Trust, LGC HealthTrust and NH Municipal Association staff and by staff from other New Hampshire organizations. New courses are developed in response to claims analysis and trends. We also welcome course suggestions from Members.

ENROLLMENT AND FEES

The Academy training courses are open to any LGC Risk Pool Group or NH Municipal Association Member. We encourage individuals interested in furthering their education to enroll to gain valuable, work-related skills. Our online courses are complimentary. Fees for courses that involve classroom instruction vary depending on required textbooks and other materials. ABOUT THE ACADEMY

The Academy is a service of LGC Property Liability Trust (PLT) and was developed in partnership with Municipal Resources, Inc. in 2008. LGC Property Liability Trust offers health and safety services focused on health improvement and reduction of accidents and injuries. It provides ongoing communication, education and support aimed at helping LGC Risk Pool Groups to maintain healthy and safe work environments every day.
