Bloodborne Pathogens

This course will cover the following:
Review two major bloodborne pathogens: HBV and HIV
Identify modes of disease transmission
Define standard (universal) precautions
Discuss emergency steps to communicable disease exposure
Provide answers to the common questions asked regarding bloodborne pathogens

Recommended for: Persons who come in contact with bodily fluids, including school nurses, waste water treatment personnel, public works employees, police, fire, teachers, maintenance and custodial staff.
