Financial reporting relates to the preparation of reliable financial statements that are fairly presented in accordance with GAAP. Financial reporting includes the initiating, recording, authorizing, and processing of journal entries into the general ledger through out the year and recording adjusting entries at year end, and preparing the financial statements and note disclosures. A system of internal control over financial reporting does not stop at the general ledger, but includes all controls over the preparation of the financial statements and notes. This intensive program brings you a step closer to financial accountability.
This is the third course in a series of three LGC Academy finance courses.
